Kincardine O’Neil (Scottish Gaelic: Cinn Chàrdainn) is the oldest village on Royal Deeside, up in the northeast of Scotland. It is situated between the towns of Banchory and Aboyne midway along the Deeside Way, long distance footpath, which runs from Aberdeen on the east coast to the village of Ballater in the Cairngorm’s National Park.
For the last six years the village has achieved “Outstanding” grading in the Britain in Bloom “It’s your Neighbourhood” section.
