Village Hall

The Kincardine O’Neil Village Hall is widely used for community events, while being open to private or commercial hire. It has an excellent solid wood floor, great for dancing and Ceilidh’s, a raised stage area, toilets (ladies and gentlemen) and a small but fully functional kitchen.  It also makes an excellent venue for indoor sports throughout the winter months.  Please note that the toilets, stage and kitchen are not accessible for wheelchair users but the public toilets next door are wheelchair friendly.

Official capacity is 197 for close seating events, 140 for dances and 98 for functions with tables and chairs. Included in lets is use of the Halls 100 chairs and wide range of tables and trestles which are stored under the stage.  Double fire doors provide easy access to a car park and for bringing in large items such as musical instruments & amps etc.

The hall is available for bookings from as little at £12 per hour (£10 for local residents) and for most uses a flat rate £48 (£40 local) applies for lets of between 4 and 12 hours.  The hall is typically used for things such as community groups, private parties, music rehearsal/gigs and exercise classes etc. Lighting is free but electricity for heating is through a self-payment meter, so you may need a supply of £1 coins (change can be provided if required) during the winter months. The hall operates as a charity (number SC017359) and is run by an elected committee of locals.
