A very active club involved in this fascinating and healthy outdoor sport.  Based in middle Deeside (Drumoak to Braemar) and north towards Alford.  Club events are open to all and members can also benefit from plenty of training and coaching options.  Ideal for families wanting to experience the outdoors, improve their fitness and health and also learn useful map-reading skills.

There are 4 permanent courses based in local woods, simply download the map, visit the wood and walk/run round as many controls as you wish:
Deeside Runners is an Aboyne-based club of runners covering  road, hill and cross-country running.
